A recent lawsuit has been filed against a former pre-K program worker, Timothy McCrary, and his employer, after it was discovered that at least four children were sexually abused under his care while employed at the corporation. The former employee worked for the Harrington Head Start Program in Delaware, which is owned by the Telamon Corporation. McCrary abused at least four children, between Fall 2018 and May 2019. He was charged with three counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a child by a person of trust and one count unlawful sexual contact of a victim less than 13 years old.
Raeann Warner of Jacobs & Crumplar, P.A. is representing the parents of two of the children who were abused under McCrary’s care. The suit claims that while the Telamon Corporation was negligent in supervision of McCrary. The company was allegedly made aware of an incident where McCrary attempted to solicit a male student during the 2018-2019 school year prior to the abuse of the other children, including the children in the lawsuit.
